This problem comes from my former students at polytechnics, his name is Joshua Risandy:
Sir I ask, at the time of I'd merge 2 hard drives using partition magic, but the data I have not moved, then dropped out of the process so that the disk unallocated, should be formatted again.
How to recovery it? With what?
Please help me Sir....
Yesterday, I was using HDD regenerate, and other recovery but there are corrupted files, while the damage is essential ....
The solution:
This method can only be used to solve problems that are still errors in the logical limits. Logical error / recovery in this case: partition formatted, deleted folder was passed Shift + Del, error partition table / MBR etc.
1. Shutdown your system immediately (after the deleted files, formatted or otherwise). Do not mess with HDD that has data loss.
2. Install Recovery software on another HDD. Do not at HDD that has a problem!
3. HDD that has problems (which formatted or loss of data) should be a slave position on another PC. Do not be a master!
4. Prepare another HDD to accommodate the data to be saved. HDD that has a problem should not be used to fill data of recovery results
So, the standard:
There are 3 hard disk should be prepared: HDDA (the problem), HDDB (installed recovery programs) and HDDC (to accommodate the data saved)
HDDB as a bootable master (with Windows and othersd)
HDDA as victims to be rescued
HDDC as a shelter data
Software recommended:
1. WinHex
2. TestDisk
3. GetDataBack
There are many other recovery software that can be used to save data. Please adjust your search and your needs. The principle works the same. What is important is the standardization HDDA, HDDB, HDDC as above.
Post Morten WARNING: DO NOT CHANGE THE CONDITION HDD THAT HAS PROBLEM IN VAIN! IF HARD DISK FAILURE CAUSED BY SOFTWARE TYPE PARTITION PARTITION MAGIC (RE-SIZE, CONVERT OR OTHERWISE) OR Acronis AND OTHER, DO NOT WARRANT "UNDO". DANGER!
Well, we'll start with the first post ... ..
In situations where the HDD is not accessible, remember the following things:
1. Do not panic, turn off your PC / notebook / external HDD first
2. Try to remember which folder or any file that is not there. Make a list
3. Search these backup on CD or in other storage. Is it complete? Check twice
4. Is Its Backup still Ok?
5. If there are no backups, Please record what was happen before the problem appears ...
6. Disconnect all power cable, off HDD.
OK, now we will analyze your case through. Do not do anything about HDDnya first. Relax ....
Is this Windows gives the message "CRC error"? or "Write delayed failed"? or "Partition table is corrupt and unreadable"? or "Error file not found"?
-> If yes you should get ready to work even longer to check this HDD. See step 4 (you have to get ready have a joked with your HDD in DOS mode and not Windows mode)
